Section 10
Sending Preliminary Investigation Report

(1) As soon as a complaint or notice of any offense mentioned in Schedule-1 or Schedule-2 is registered in accordance with Section 4, the police officer or investigation officer assigned to investigate such offense shall immediately conduct a preliminary investigation.
(2) After starting the preliminary investigation according to sub-section (1), such police officer or investigating officer shall send the report to the district attorney's office within three days.
